Welcome to the second and third seminars in the ESRC seminar series New Directions for UK Autism Research http://www.shapingautismresearch.co.uk/. In this seminar series, researchers are working together with the autism community – (autistic adults, parents of children with autism, policy workers and practitioners in health, education, social services and the third sector) - to develop an agenda for future directions in research.

Think Autism: fulfilling and rewarding lives, the strategy for adults with autism in England: an update

‘Think Autism’ sets out a clear programme the Department of Health and other government departments will be taking to improve the lives of people with autism, primarily through taking actions that will support local authorities, the NHS, other public services and their partners with their local implementation work.
